Texas Shooting Camp | 2025

The Texan Shooting Camp is designed to develop higher level shooting and scoring skills. This camp helps players of all abilities refine essential basketball shooting techniques, footwork, and moves to the basket. The camp will be run like our college player development workouts.

Camp Highlights:

• Proper shooting techniques, footwork, shooting off the pass & dribble, free throw shooting, post/perimeter shooting.
• Offensive attack moves going to the basket and making layups against contact.
• Learn how to move efficiently without the ball to get open and how to create space to score with the ball in your hands.
• Learn how great shooters prepare, think, and practice to improve their range and quick release.
• All participants will receive a camp t-shirt and basketball.

What to bring:

• Water bottle

Location: Wisdom Gymnasium on the campus of Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas.

ABOUT THE FACILITIES
Tarleton State University has the very best in the way of facilities to offer campers. The historic Wisdom Gymnasium includes a premier basketball court, as well as an auxiliary gymnasium and gymnastics room. Plus, the building includes a complete weight room and physical training room. The residence hall, dining hall and student center are conveniently located and are excellent facilities for the campers.

INSURANCE
All participants will be covered by a secondary medical insurance which is included in the camp fee.

SUPERVISION
Tarleton Women’s Basketball staff along with current and former Tarleton Texan players.

Tarleton Women's Basketball camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
